Rev. Cameron "Cam" Thomas

We are thrilled to announce that Rev. Cameron "Cam" Thomas will be joining us as our new Pastor & Head of Staff. With a heart full of compassion, a deep love for Scripture, and a dedication to service, Rev. Thomas brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to our congregation.

Rev. Thomas graduated from Union Presbyterian Seminary and has served with distinction in various pastoral roles, including most recently at Topsail Presbyterian Church. His approach to ministry is grounded in building strong, supportive communities and nurturing spiritual growth, and he is excited to embark on this new journey with us.

Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Rev. Thomas and his family as he begins his call on September 23, 2024. We look forward to his leadership, vision, and the new chapter of growth and fellowship that lies ahead.

Rev. Elizabeth McGuire

Rev. Elizabeth McGuire is a dedicated teaching elder ordained in the Presbyterian Church (USA). A proud alumna of Queens University and Union Presbyterian Seminary, Elizabeth has a deep commitment to theological education and pastoral care.


Before joining First Presbyterian Church, Elizabeth served for eight years as the Associate Pastor at Salisbury Presbyterian Church in Midlothian, Virginia, where she developed a strong reputation for her compassionate leadership and inspiring sermons.


Elizabeth and her husband, William, currently reside in Holly Springs, North Carolina, with their three children: John Howell, Moriah, and Dottie. She brings her passion for ministry, community, and family to her new role, where she continues to nurture the spiritual growth and well-being of her congregation.

Andrew McLean - Producer

Andrew McLean is an Ordained Deacon through the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and the Coastal Carolina Presbytery. He became a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Dunn on November 28, 2022, and was ordained and installed as a deacon on December 17, 2023. Andrew also serves the congregation as the Communications Director, playing a vital role in connecting the church community.


Prior to joining First Presbyterian, Andrew was a long-time member of South View Baptist Church in Hope Mills, North Carolina. His ministry began in 2006 when he was ordained as a minister. 


Andrew holds a Master of Divinity with a concentration in Theology from Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, North Carolina. Andrew and his wife, Katie, currently reside in Lillington, North Carolina. His deep commitment to both his faith and the community has made him an integral part of First Presbyterian Church of Dunn.
